Paworld Labs LLC operates TeeLab. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our website and services. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@teelab.golf.
Information we handle
We handle account and profile information, such as email, display name, and selected profile photos; club memberships and invitations; tee times, courses, rosters, scores, handicap estimates, competition settings and results; and club credit balances, issuance, allocations, deductions, and history. We also process support messages, notification tokens, and technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
Permissions and optional features
Location-enabled features may use your location for course maps or sharing functions you choose. Selected photos may be uploaded when you set an avatar; we do not need your entire photo library. Camera and notification access depend on the features and permissions you enable. Calendar features can open a system event-creation screen or export a calendar file; they do not require uploading your whole calendar. You can manage device permissions in system settings.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, organize rounds and clubs, calculate results and credit records, deliver notifications, provide requested analysis, respond to support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. Club credit records are records of activity, not cash accounts.
AI analysis
When you request AI-assisted analysis, relevant golf context may be sent to our AI service providers, including Google Vertex AI/Gemini. This can include your display name, courses, round history, scores, and playing partners’ names and scores. Analysis results may be stored in TeeLab. These features do not operate entirely on your device; review any generated advice before relying on it.
Who can see shared information
Relevant information is visible to club members, event participants, and organizers according to the feature and access settings. Enabled public or invitation previews may expose selected club, organizer, course, time, location, availability, or event details to people outside the club. Sharing a link may widen its audience. Do not include information you lack permission to share.
Service providers and other disclosures
We use providers for hosting, authentication, storage, delivery, diagnostics, analytics, AI, and applicable payments, including Supabase, Cloudflare, Google, Sentry, and Stripe. They process information needed for those services. App stores and payment providers also process purchases under their own policies. We may disclose information when needed to comply with law, protect people or the service, or carry out a business transition subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information.
Analytics, cookies, and diagnostics
Our website and web app use Google Analytics, and our native app uses Firebase Analytics in production. Analytics collection can start automatically and may use cookies, device or browser information, visit and interaction events, and campaign information. Google advertising personalization is disabled in these integrations. Error-monitoring tools may receive device details, routes, error reports, and related diagnostic context. We do not currently provide an in-app analytics consent switch. Browser cookie controls and device settings can limit some collection, but may affect functionality. Retention and account deletion
We retain information for service operation and legitimate security, recordkeeping, and legal needs. You can request account deletion from the native app’s profile page or by contacting support. Deleting an account does not necessarily erase every shared record: scores and event histories may remain, ownership may be transferred, and some shared roster entries may retain a display name marked as deleted. Credit and competition audit records, backups, and records needed to address disputes or legal obligations may also remain. Ask support about a particular record if you need help.
Your choices and requests
You can update supported profile fields, manage permissions and notifications, and request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your information. Depending on your location and applicable law, additional rights may apply. We may need to verify your identity and explain any applicable limits before fulfilling a request. Never send us your password or authentication codes. We do not promise that a browser Do Not Track signal disables analytics.
Security, international processing, and children
We use reasonable safeguards, but no service can guarantee complete security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action, including removal where required. This notice does not mean that we verify every user’s age.
